In 8th grade had a crush on my coach do u think he hates me?

ok so i used to have a crush on my coach about 2 months ago n we wuld flirt n stuf haha i sware and well i wrote this note to my friend w stuff about him n it and she went and gave it to him...and so i tried to tell him i did not write it but he knew i did kuz i had him last semester so anyways after that i avoided him for a few days then i started saying hi to him agin n stuff he was really friendly but he kinda trys to avoid me i think i went in his room one time to tell him sorry for everything n he said he thought nuthng of it..i never had a dad n my life and kind of look up to him like that..he does not have any kids just 2 step kids. anyway so sometimes when he sees me in the hall hell say hi or ill say hi hell just be like hey whats upp .. its kinda wierd tho kuz i know he is always looking at me like if i go down the hall n i look at him for a sec he glances up at me real quick well can you help me what should i do??? and my friend tells him all this stuff and ppl wont stop sometimes so idk if he just wants me to leave him alone or if he does not care wht shuld i doo
