Does the undergraduate college you attend affect the job opportunities you could possibly receive?
I'm currently a community college student with plans to transfer to a university to major in Finance. My overall goal during my education is to earn an MBA. However, I need some work experience before that becomes a reality. Because of this, I'd love to work at a good job out of my four-year university, but have been questioning whether or not my current choice for a college will ultimately lead to a successful job (East Carolina University (ECU) is my current choice at the moment if anyone is familiar with North Carolina universities). For those who don't know, ECU is the third most recognizable public university in North Carolina, next to North Carolina State University (NCSU) and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC). I currently have almost a 3.9 GPA with the current courses I've completed and I'm involved with different clubs/honor societies and volunteer so I'm confident I can get into most schools in North Carolina. Should I be shooting higher than my current choice or does it really matter?
