How do you chose a cell phone plan in Vancouver when not a heavy user and do not text message?

I do not want to be locked into a lengthy contract like I had with Fido. I have a land line with Shaw for only $15 a month so my cell phone is not going tobe used a great deal but I like the convenience of a cell phone
