Whats it like living in Hawaii?

I really really really want to live in Hawaii. After i graduate college (although im only in high school right now), and i want to be a teacher in hawaii. But what is like living in hawaii, like what do you do for fun, are there secluded beaches that i can just chill on, are the locals really that racist or is it just certain parts, and etc. Also i should probably add this i want to get a teaching job in Honolulu or on Oahu, but if anyone who lives there reads this, can you please answer, because it seems like the greatest place on earth, thank you
